A Thought
We assume that:
Study = No Fail
and that:
No Study = Fail
So:
Study + No Study = Fail + No Fail
then factor out the coefficients:
Study(1+ No) = Fail(1+ No)
Then elimate (1+ No) from the equation
Study = Fail
Study = No Fail
and that:
No Study = Fail
So:
Study + No Study = Fail + No Fail
then factor out the coefficients:
Study(1+ No) = Fail(1+ No)
Then elimate (1+ No) from the equation
Study = Fail

I'm sure there must must a mistake in there, I don't know where but I will find it
L-wave
that proof doesnt make sense
lets use letters
a=b
c=d
a+c=b+d
you then cant seperate the terms to make coeffs
thus the basis of the proof is wrong
Rob? is that you? :)
rob doesn't blog...
does he??
noooo- it was me
wait what who?
the question is really whether "no" is unique within the ring. if no is unique then there is no problem and the proof holds. however, if either no is non-unique or the author meant to write no_sub1 and no_sub2 then the proof does not hold.
