Royal Mountain Band

Man! For those who came to Casa last night and were disappointed by The Royal Mountain Band's no-show I have a story for you.

Well I am pretty sure I saw their singer in the ghetto this morning but it may not have been him. Still, later that night, at my second Pistol outing (that's right, twice in one evening!) who do I see at the table in front of me but the RMB guitarist! Is it him? I wonder until I am sure and go up to see him to face him about his absence last night.
'Are you in the Royal Mountain Band?' I start out with.
'Yes.'
'I went to see your show at Casa del Popolo last night and you weren't there'
Well he explains that two of their members were sick and that they are recording in the studio these days. He apologized and offered to put me on the list next time seeing as I am such a dedicated fan. I explained that I knew them from Pop Montreal and the other guy, the bassist Fredéric said he recognized me from then and made a point to remember me for their next show. They were not really conclusive about when it was and their myspace.com page is shit, only one friend and no music!

Well, anyway, I'm glad I got to call them on it.
